Further bits and pieces of ZUR06 keep arriving in the workshop. We have received our new rims, and we’re now awaiting the delivery of the battery cells, our new DTI motors and inverters, as well as further components so that assembly can start right on time.
Exciting news as well: Our chassis is about to get «dressed» – the attachements are getting welded today! The next step will be finishing the wheel assembly, which only needs a few final details before it can also go into production. A big part of the aero molds is now in production, and as soon as they arrive, we can start laminating our new bodywork. Most of the PCBs are already done, and while it will still take some time to see the electrical system fully come to life, this phase is crucial for our success later on
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working hard to achieve our New Year’s resolution: Successfully qualifying for the upcoming races. Our subteams have been fully booked and busy, practicing questions and making sure they’re as prepared as possible for the challenges ahead.
At the same time, a lot has been happening behind the scenes, as usual. New partnership leads are being pursued, and we’ve already held our roll-out kick-off meeting. Our Business Plan team has concluded their brainstorming sessions and come up with innovative ideas – the next step for them is getting into the writing phase.
